The 513gXM and 5137 consoles display English language descriptions of
zones. An lnstalle~s message can be programmed to display when the
system is ‘Ready’ to arm (ex. 7HE PETERSON’S READY TO ARM’). The
zone descriptions are programmed by the installer using the built-in
vocabulary of words (see PROGRAMMING ZONE DESCRIPTIONS
paragraphs later In this sectton).
When all fields have been entered and checked, exit programming mode by
pressing either ‘98 or ‘99. A second entry of ‘99 is required If the exit is
being done from fields 1’00 and above. To prevent re-access to
Programming mode using the Installers code, use ‘98. The only way to re-
access Programming mode is by depressing both the r) and I#] keys at the
same time within 30 seconds of power up.
Exiting by using ‘99 always allows
reentry into Programmfng mode using the Installers code. Either way of
exftii will allow access via downloading.
